Montgomery Philharmonic  ( is a community orchestra. Its program of community engagement reaches 1,200 people through the Rappaport Young Artist Competition, side-by-side MS concert, the Youth Chamber Music Festival and Summer Reading Sessions. The Montgomery Philharmonic provides free adult education master classes that feature members of the Baltimore and National symphony orchestras, chamber concerts for seniors, conducting fellowships, and internships for those learning about the music business.
