State Senator Quits Post, Gets Hired By Annapolis Lobbyist – Former District 15 State Sen. Rob Garagiola stepped down earlier this month and he already has a new job. Garagiola will join powerful Annapolis lobbying firm Alexander & Cleaver and manage its new Montgomery County office, according to a press release. Maryland law says former legislators can’t lobby in Annapolis during their first legislative session after their departure.
